Come behind the scenes with us - Farmers Graeme, Louise & Scott- and step into our daily life on a real working Scottish farm in the heart of Angus. Our 1-1.5 hour guided lambing & calving experiences provides the best season to visit to engage with all the newborns on the farm.

Whether you're 3 or 93, our tours are designed to be relaxed, inclusive, and full of animal interactions and moments to remember. We welcome guests of all ages and abilities, and we're always happy to adapt the experience for you where possible.

    • Dog friendly – well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome (please let us know in advance when you book)

    • All ages and abilities welcome – we’ll make sure you’re comfortable and involved

    • We’re outdoors in all weathers, so dress for the Scottish elements and wear sturdy shoes!

New for 2026 - Daily at 2.30pm trailer rides to visit the sheep & their frollicking lambs in the fields (subject to weather & staff additional £5pp payable on the day)

🐑 Lambing & Calving – Adult & Teen Only (13yrs+) (Ads £20, Con £17.50)
A peaceful, in-depth evening experience 1 hour+ designed for adults and older teens to share in the joy of Springtime newborns, learning about the skills required and feed the pet lambs their last feed of the day. You may even have the opportunity to assist in a live birth (cannot be guaranteed)

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Lambing & Calving – Families (All Ages) (Ad £17.50, Con £15, Ch £10)
A fun and educational daytime experience on our working farm for all age groups. Perfect for adults and families with children of all ages. Our adult : child ratio is 1 : 2. This experience allows you to connect with real farming in an immersive way learning as we meet the many cows, sheep, goats and their newborns.

🐑🐾 Lambing Special Combo (6 yrs+) (Ad £25, Con £22.50, Ch £15)
Lambing Special + Feeding Frenzy – The ultimate Springtime experience – This smaller group session combines our family lambing experience plus feeding time on the farm with the other animals. Meet and feed alpacas, pigs, goats, donkeys and of course the lambs. Suitable for older children and adults. Not suitable for those with mobility issues.

🌿 Lambing & Calving – Calm Session (All Ages) (Ad £17.50, Con £15, Ch £10)
A smaller, quieter group session designed for those who would prefer a more relaxed experience or those with Additional Support Needs. We can provide ear defenders & fidget toys if required.

👶 Little Lambers – Preschool Experience (1-5yrs) (Child £15 + 1 free adult)
A 1 hour guided, toddler experience including meet the sheep and lambs, craft & messy play. Each adult may bring up to two children (aged 1-5 years). Any additional adults will be charged £15

 

Good to Know

    • Lambing tours run throughout the day and some evenings to coincide with the pet lambs bottle feeding times.
    • The number of lambs requiring to be bottle fed will increase throughout lambing. Additonal spaces may therefore open daily throughout April and May.
    • Pre-booking is essential as we are not an open farm and experiences are scheduled around real farm work and animal care with limited spaces on each tour.
    • During lambing season (April/May) the farm tour is replaced with our Lambing & Calving Experiences
    • Parking on-site.
    • Guidance and insights from our friendly farm team, eager to share their knowledge about farm life and springtime births.
    • Witnessing a live birth and bottle feeding lambs are dependent on nature and cannot be guaranteed but we will ensure everyone has the opportunity to have an amazing memorable experience.
    • You may have to share a bottle with members of your party.

What Makes It Special?

No two tours are ever the same. Our animals have big personalities, and our days rarely go exactly to plan - which is just how we like it! You might find yourself bottle-feeding spring lambs one day and watching a calf take its first wobbly steps the next.

During your lambing experience, you'll have:

  • Entry to the farm for a 1-hour guided newborns experience.
  • Our Feeding Frenzy / Lambing Combo is 1.5 hours
  • Cuddle time with our friendly pet lambs. (age 5+)
  • Gloves provided for all children (1-12yrs) Handwashing must still take place
  • Bottle feeding lambs when available.
  • Visit the barns to see pregnant ewes & cows and possibly a live birth if nature provides.
  • On our Adult & Teens only session, you may have the opportunity to assist with a birth.

We love sharing our story, and seeing the wonder in someone’s face as they meet a Highland cow for the first time or hold a newborn lamb is something we’ll never tire of.

Make a Day of It

Before or after your tour, relax in The Cart Shed, our covered rustic seating area. Bring a picnic or enjoy sweet treats, lunch snacks, and barista coffee - all served farm-style.

Staying overnight? Guests in our B&B or self-catering cottage can add the farm tour at a discounted guest rate when booking and kids go free.
